Basketball Game Preview: Jones County Coyotes vs. Highmore/Harrold Pirates

The Jones County Coyotes just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Highmore/Harrold Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Jones County is leaving town to face Highmore/Harrold after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Jones County fell 44-33 to White River on Friday.

Jones County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1.

As for Highmore/Harrold, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (12-11), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.

Jones County didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Highmore/Harrold when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 46-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jones County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
