Basketball Recap: Las Lomas Wins Going Away Against Newark Memorial

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Las Lomas walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Newark Memorial Cougars with a sharp 55-32 win on Wednesday.

Las Lomas has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season. As for Newark Memorial, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-11.

Coming up, Las Lomas will square off against University at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. University will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Las Lomas surely won't give up without a fight. Newark Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
