After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Haynes Academy, Fisher was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past Thomas Jefferson 12-6. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Fisher got a big performance out of Jacob Bourgeois, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Bourgeois has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Shamp, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Fisher's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-8-1. As for Thomas Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
