Basketball Game Preview: Murray Mustangs vs. Melcher-Dallas Saints

Murray is 8-2 against Melcher-Dallas since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Murray has four straight victories, Melcher-Dallas has 14 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Murray earned a 50-37 win over Lamoni.

Meanwhile, Melcher-Dallas had to suffer through a 73-37 loss at the hands of Seymour.

Melcher-Dallas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Murray, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Murray against Melcher-Dallas in their previous matchup on December 10th, as the team secured an 87-54 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Murray since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
