            Softball Recap: Graham-Kapowsin Eagles vs. Olympia Bears        
        
		
        
        
            Graham-Kapowsin made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Olympia, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Graham-Kapowsin never let Olympia get on the board and left with  a   6-0  victory  on Monday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six  runs or more this season.

Not much got past  Jessika Jennings, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Olympia off the board. Jennings has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Macee Matison was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4. What's more,  she posted two  RBI, the most she's  had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  MaKena Rodgers, who  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Graham-Kapowsin was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Olympia only posted a  batting average of  .080.
The  win made it two in a row for Graham-Kapowsin and  bumps their season record up to 3-2. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2  run in those games. As for Olympia, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 3-3.
 Coming up, Graham-Kapowsin will face off against Bethel at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bethel has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.14  runs per game on average), something Graham-Kapowsin will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Olympia, they will square off against Bonney Lake at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
