Softball Recap: Juab Takes a Loss

Juab was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-2 to the Delta Rabbits. The Wasps were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rabbits apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Madi Blankenagel was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Mollie Blankenagel, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Even though they lost, Juab was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delta only posted a batting average of .250.

Juab's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Delta, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Juab will welcome Richfield at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Delta, they will host Milford at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Delta will need to watch out since Milford has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
