Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilde Lake). They breezed past the Hammond Golden Bears to the tune of 96-68 on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Wildecats as they're now sitting on six straight.

Wilde Lake found their leader in sophomore Devin Wingfield, who went 9-for-15 on his way to 25 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Wingfield is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 47% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dre Hoskins, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards.

Wilde Lake's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Hammond, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Wilde Lake has already played their next matchup, a 62-60 win against Urbana on the 21st. As for Hammond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 81-77 victory against Mt. Hebron on the 20th.
