Bennett won the last time they faced Mardela and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bennett Clippers managed a 51-45 victory over the Mardela Warriors.

Mardela's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jo'Ziah Sherwood, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 25 boards, and Darion Collins, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 18 points and seven steals. Sherwood has become a key player for Mardela: the team is 12-5 when he posts at least ten rebounds, but 2-3 otherwise.

Bennett is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Mardela, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Bennett will square off against Wicomico on Thursday. Mardela does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
