            Basketball Recap: Miami-Yoder Buffaloes vs. Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders        
        
		
        
        
            Miami-Yoder lost against Thomas MacLaren School back in January of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Miami-Yoder Buffaloes fell  59-51 to the Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 Despite the loss, Miami-Yoder still got an impressive performance from   Jel Wallerstedt, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with 26 points and nine  rebounds. Wallerstedt's evening made it three games in a row in which  he has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was  Gavin Howard, who  posted 14  points along with six  boards and five  assists.
 It was another big night for  Jake Frisbie, who  dropped  a double-double with 16 points and 11  rebounds for Thomas MacLaren School. The dominant performance gave  Frisbie a new career-high in  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Angelo Tiggett, who  put up 11 points and four  steals.
Miami-Yoder's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Thomas MacLaren School,  the  victory  got them back to even at 10-10.
 Miami-Yoder wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  61-36  win against Genoa-Hugo/Karval on the 19th. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Crowley County  at 5:30  p.m. Crowley County will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  victory, something Thomas MacLaren School surely won't give up without a fight.
