Hamilton Southeastern is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Benet Academy. The Royals came out on top against the Redwings by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Royals sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

While Hamilton Southeastern won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23.

Madison Miles paced Hamilton Southeastern's offense, picking up 12 kills. Miles got some help from Jasmine Daniels and her 18 assists.

Hamilton Southeastern's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Benet Academy, they moved to 21-2 with that loss, which also ended their 17-match winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hamilton Southeastern will take on Mt. Vernon at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Benet Academy, they will challenge Naperville North at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
