Basketball Recap: Bensalem Find Success

Bensalem won the last time they faced Neshaminy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bensalem Fighting Owls pulled ahead with a 66-65 photo finish over the Neshaminy Skins. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Owls.

Bensalem's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aidan Mayfield, who went 10 of 17 en route to 24 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Mayfield is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Christian Lee was another key player, putting up 14 points and eight rebounds.

Bensalem pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 33.1% in those games and 26.4% outside of them. As for Neshaminy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
