Middlesex had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They blew past the North Brunswick North Brunswick Raiders 13-3. While the Bluejays didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Middlesex's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 10.6 runs this season. As for North Brunswick, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
