Thompson had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Oak Mountain Eagles. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Thompson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-22.

Maddy Henderson paced Thompson's offense, picking up 22 kills. Henderson got some help from Jayla Green and her 27 assists.

Thompson's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Oak Mountain, their loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-13.

Thompson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Hoover on the 25th. As for Oak Mountain, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Oxford on the 27th.
