Dobyns-Bennett of Kingsport, Tenn., replaces Yorktown in Top 25 after it lost in the Indiana 3A finals to Brebeuf Jesuit Prep.
A showdown in Indiana provided the only upset in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 national high school girls volleyball rankings this week, as Brebeuf Jesuit Prep of Indianapolis upset Yorktown to win the Class 3A championship.
Brebeuf, which was ranked No. 25 last week, had only one loss on the season and that was to No. 15 Yorktown early in the year. Yorktown's loss knocked it out of the top 25 and it was replaced by Dobyns-Bennett of Kingsport, Tenn., which won a state championship two weeks ago.
