There's no place like home for Windber, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the North Star Cougars on Wednesday. The Ramblers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Nici Costlow was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylie Gaye, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Windber moved to 7-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for North Star, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Windber wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-2 victory against Rockwood on the 24th. As for North Star, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-3 loss against Shade on the 24th.
