Dashawn Woods Turns in Season-Best Effort

Dashawn Woods produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hammond Morton to the win on Friday. Woods' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 111 rushing yards. His longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards.

The win was the third in a row for Hammond Morton, bringing their record for this year to 3-4. Woods and Hammond Morton will challenge East Chicago Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Davion Terry Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Davion Terry produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hammond Central to the win on Friday. Terry rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

With the win, Hammond Central broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. Terry and Hammond Central will stay at home for another week and welcome Hanover Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Holland Harris Dazzles in Hammond Morton Victory

The second Hammond Morton player making an appearance here is Holland Harris, and for good reason. He threw for 350 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 35 yards.

Harris is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against East Chicago Central on Thursday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Harris saw the Cardinals), he threw for 316 yards and three touchdowns while completing 94.1% of his passes.
