It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Weldon Valley Warriors had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 47-37. The victory was just what Weldon Valley needed coming off of a 61-18 defeat in their prior game.

Leading Weldon Valley to victory were Haylee Nelson and Annie Onufrak. Nelson dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Onufrak dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Onufrak hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Scott, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Despite the loss, Peetz saw an underclassman step up: Jaidynn Reiman scored 18 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Reiman hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Skye Lefever was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six steals.

Weldon Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Peetz, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Weldon Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-20 loss vs. Briggsdale on the 22nd. Peetz does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
