Volleyball Recap: Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Beats Mt. Carmel for Their Third Straight Win

Norris City-Omaha-Enfield had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces. The Fighting Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Aces, too.

Sydnee Sauls paced Norris City-Omaha-Enfield's offense, picking up nine kills. Sauls got some help from Jaydee Melton and her 22 assists. Kate Vollman and Hayden Knight kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Norris City-Omaha-Enfield's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mt. Carmel, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Norris City-Omaha-Enfield and Mt. Carmel will both be playing North Clay the next time they take the court. The Fighting Cardinals will head out to face the Cardinals at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Aces will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
