Basketball Recap: Gorham Fayette Takes a Loss

Gorham Fayette lost against Hilltop back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gorham Fayette Eagles took a hard 52-34 fall against the Hilltop Cadets. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 533rd, while the Cadets are ranked 141st).

Gorham Fayette now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Hilltop, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Gorham Fayette will venture away from home to face off against Montpelier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hilltop, they will be home for the holidays to greet Liberty Center at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
