Onaga waltzed into their match on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Doniphan West Mustangs 9-0. Give the Buffaloes' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Bridgett Campbell made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, Addison DeChant was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Makenzie Dorsey was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Onaga pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Doniphan West, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Onaga beat the Mustangs by a score of 14-1 later that day.
