Basketball Recap: West Valley Takes a Loss

West Valley played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 72-27 loss at the hands of the Deer Park Stags. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-15.

West Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Deer Park, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Valley will welcome North Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Deer Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grangeville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Deer Park is on a 19-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Grangeville a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
