Soccer Game Preview: Skyview vs. Overland

The Skyview Wolverines will head out on the road to challenge the Overland Trailblazers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Skyview came up short against Adams City on Thursday, falling 8-1. Skyview haven't had much luck with Adams City recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Overland was not quite Gateway's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Olympians. Gabrielle Thompson was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Overland has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Skyview, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
