Soccer Game Preview: Del Norte vs. Mission Hills

The Del Norte Nighthawks will challenge the Mission Hills Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Norte's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Del Norte is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: San Pasqual, who was ranked eighth at the time (Del Norte was ranked sixth). Del Norte and San Pasqual finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Thursday. The result kept the Nighthawks happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mission Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Rancho Bernardo a 2-0 shutout on Thursday.

With that draw, Del Norte's record moves to 10-0-5. As for Mission Hills, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-4-2.
