There's no place like home for Thomas County Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Coffee Trojans on Monday as the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets made off with a 67-47 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-58 back in January.

Eric Love, III was his usual excellent self, going 10 for 18 on his way to 24 points. Another player making a difference was Colby Mullinax, who went 5 of 9 to rack up 12 points and eight boards.

Coffee's loss came despite strong showings from Jeremiah Bazell and Trayvon Carter. Bazell went 8 for 15 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds, while Carter posted seven points. Those eight boards gave Bazell a new career-high.

Thomas County Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Coffee, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Thomas County Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-56 loss against Northside on the 7th. As for Coffee, they have also already played their next game, a 67-48 defeat against Fitzgerald on the 5th.
