Elsberry had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They secured a 54-50 W over the Louisiana Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Bulldogs two weeks ago, they had to take a 36-34 defeat.

Elsberry's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Louisiana, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-5.

Coincidentally, Elsberry and Louisiana will both be playing Clopton the next time they take the court. Elsberry will host Clopton on Friday, while Louisiana will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
