Recap: Riverside Pirates vs. Milton-Union Bulldogs
There's no place like home for the Riverside Pirates, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-37 victory over Milton-Union on Friday. For Riverside, this counts as revenge for the 62-45 defeat Milton-Union walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, Milton-Union still got an impressive performance from Titus Copp, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Copp has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Kimmel, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
The victory got Riverside back to even at 6-6. As for Milton-Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Riverside will head out on the road to face off against Bethel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Milton-Union, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lehman Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
