Salpointe Catholic waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Maricopa Rams.

Lehi Rocha paced Salpointe Catholic's offense, picking up eight kills. Rocha got some help from Antony Owens and his 20 assists. Alexander Owens controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Salpointe Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Maricopa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Salpointe Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Mountain View on the 12th. As for Maricopa, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Mica Mountain on the 12th.
