Basketball Game Preview: Central Panthers vs. Woodburn Bulldogs

Central hasn't had much luck against Woodburn recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Central Panthers will take on the Woodburn Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Central is coming into the match on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They enjoyed a cozy 67-53 win over McKay on Friday.

Meanwhile, Woodburn came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 56-33 victory.

Woodburn pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Central was taken down by Woodburn 74-42 when the teams last played back in January. Can Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
