Basketball Game Preview: Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators vs. St. John's Islanders

Lowcountry Leadership is on an 11-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, St. John an 11-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators will welcome the St. John's Islanders at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Lowcountry Leadership was beaten by Branchville 71-28.

Meanwhile, St. John's had to suffer through a 69-25 loss at the hands of Cross. While losing is never fun, the Islanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Trojans are ranked 97th).

St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Lowcountry Leadership, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Lowcountry Leadership took a serious blow against St. John's in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 83-50. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lowcountry Leadership was down 40-19.
