Softball Recap: Ten Straight Home Victories for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let the Trinity Episcopal Titans get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Saints have won six games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity Episcopal, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.
