Cole Spahr Has Career-Day  on Friday
 Starting off the list is Tri County's  Cole Spahr, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Spahr rushed for 303 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 49 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 Tri County's win bumped their record up to 2-0. Spahr and Tri County will challenge Centennial at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Ethan Shaw's  Passing Hot Streak Continues Against Shelby-Rising City
  Ethan Shaw continued his hot streak  on Friday by dropping his fourth-straight game with  (dating back to last season) with  at least three  passing touchdowns. He threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making nine total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes.
 The  win made it two in a row for Sandy Creek and  bumps their season record up to 2-0. Shaw and Sandy Creek are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. Sandy Creek face off against  Alma  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Harrison Herndon Dazzles in Sutton Victory
  Harrison Herndon posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 The  win made it two in a row for Sutton and  bumps their season record up to 2-0. Herndon and Sutton will be playing in front of their home fans against Southern Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Sam Souerdyke's  Rushing Hot Streak Continues Against Centennial
  Sam Souerdyke's rushing tear continued  on Friday as he dropped his five-straight game with 113+  rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Thayer Central and  bumps their season record up to 2-0. Souerdyke and Thayer Central will head out on the road to  take on  Lourdes Central Catholic  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Big Game from  Rempe As Sandy Creek Won 28-6
 The second Sandy Creek player making an appearance here is  Connor Rempe, and for good reason. He picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 63 yards.
