Volleyball Recap: Winamac Warriors vs. Lewis Cass Kings

Winamac managed to slip by Lewis Cass the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Kings on Tuesday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Kings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-7, 25-16.

Winamac's offense was headlined by Mylie Foster and Ava Malchow, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Jaelyn Huddleston and her six assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lewis Cass was led to victory by Lauren Tocco and Kami Silcox. Tocco had 15 digs and four aces, while Silcox had six assists and four digs. Tocco is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Winamac and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Lewis Cass, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
