Baseball Recap: Lehighton's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lehighton put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs by a score of 9-6. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Cody Snyder, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jayse Lawrence, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Lehighton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Northern Lehigh, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lehighton is set to face off against their familiar foe Wilson Area at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northern Lehigh will square off against rival Notre Dame-Green Pond at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
