The Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers will venture away from home to square off against the Shenandoah Valley Academy Stars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Appalachian Christian School is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 84-44 win over Ridgeview Christian. Given the Trailblazers' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Crusaders are ranked 397th), the result last Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Shenandoah Valley Academy got the win against Shenandoah Valley HomeSchool on Tuesday by a conclusive 66-40. The Stars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Shenandoah Valley Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Appalachian Christian School, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
