Volleyball Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

The Manchester Flying Dutchmen came up short against the Yale Bulldogs on Friday and fell 2-0. The Flying Dutchmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Karsyn Klein paced Manchester's offense, picking up four kills. Klein got some help from Olivia Woods and her nine assists. Evelyn St. Charles and Avaf Rentfro kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Leading Yale to victory were Giana Nash and Olivia Runnals. Nash had seven assists and six digs, while Runnals had 22 digs and one assist. Runnals is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Yale, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Manchester didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Mt. Morris on the 29th. As for Yale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Anchor Bay on the 29th.
