Volleyball Recap: Hurricane Beats Eldorado for Their Third Straight Victory

Hurricane entered their tilt with Eldorado on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Firehawks.

The win didn't come easy: Eldorado scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18.

Thailand Gubler paced Hurricane's offense, picking up eight kills. Gubler got some help from Kasey Kearney and his 18 assists. Quinn Hohbein controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Hurricane's victory bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Eldorado, they dropped their record down to 6-18 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hurricane will venture away from home to square off against Desert Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eldorado, they will head out to challenge Bishop Gorman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
