Volleyball Recap: Ponderosa Comes Up Short

Ponderosa came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Rio Americano Raiders, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bruins of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-20.

Ponderosa now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Rio Americano, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

Ponderosa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Vista del Lago on the 19th. As for Rio Americano, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Inderkum on the 19th.
