Nanakuli and McKinley are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Nanakuli Golden Hawks will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the McKinley Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Nanakuli came up short against Wai'anae on Wednesday, falling 11-1.

Meanwhile, McKinley lost 15-1 to Kalaheo on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

McKinley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Murata, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Everything went Nanakuli's way against McKinley in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, as Nanakuli made off with a 12-0 victory. Will Nanakuli repeat their success, or does McKinley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
