Volleyball Recap: Ossining Comes Up Short

Ossining was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rye Garnets. The Pride were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Garnets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2016.

The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 25-6, 25-13.

Ossining's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rye, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Ossining has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Maria Regina on the 27th. As for Rye, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Brewster on the 27th.
