For the second straight game, Lincoln-Way West will face off against Sandburg. The Warriors will head out to take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln-Way West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

Lincoln-Way West had taken Sandburg down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Warriors took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Carson Paulas was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Conor Essenburg, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Sandburg's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Lincoln-Way West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-4 record this season.
