Baseball Game Preview: Mohawk Indians vs. Central Linn Cobras

Mohawk is 0-4 against Central Linn since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Indians will face off against the Cobras at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mohawk fell victim to Monroe and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Dragons, falling 14-0.

Meanwhile, Central Linn lost 35-2 to Crosshill Christian on Friday. The Cobras haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Colten Northern was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Jeremiah Donahue also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Central Linn's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Mohawk, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Mohawk might still be hurting after the 15-1 loss they got from Central Linn in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
