MAST Charter II picks up ninth straight win at home

There's no place like home for the MAST Charter II Voyagers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against Parkway Center City by a score of 63-53 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as MAST Charter II also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

It was another big night for Cedric Williams, who scored 29 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of MAST Charter II's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lou Henderson, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Despite the loss, Parkway Center City still got an impressive performance from Israel Mckinley, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Mckinley pulled down eight or more rebounds. Dock Brown was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

MAST Charter II pushed their record up to 7-8 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Parkway Center City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
