Basketball Recap: Collaborative Education Sets Scoring Season-High Against Esperanza Preparatory Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collaborative Education). They managed a 37-31 victory over Esperanza Preparatory Academy on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for Collaborative Education as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Collaborative Education's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Esperanza Preparatory Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Collaborative Education will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Manhattan Village Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Esperanza Preparatory Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Wadleigh at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
