Baseball Recap: Perris Comes Up Short

The Perris Panthers came up short against the Hillcrest Trojans on Tuesday, falling 13-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Perris' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hillcrest, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season.

While Perris had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
