Kennedy is a perfect 8-0 against San Fernando since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Kennedy Cougars take on San Fernando Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Kennedy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Wednesday, Kennedy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Reseda.

Kennedy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-18, 15-13.

Meanwhile, San Fernando lost 3-0 to Panorama on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Pythons: they've now lost three in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Panorama scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

Kennedy pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for San Fernando, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Everything went Kennedy's way against San Fernando in their previous meeting on March 5th, as Kennedy made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kennedy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
