Volleyball Game Preview: West Valley Wolf Pack vs. Wasilla Warriors

West Valley is 0-9-1 against Wasilla since September of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Wolf Pack will face off against the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, West Valley turned things around against Galena on Thursday. They blew past the Hawks 3-0. The Wolf Pack not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Wasilla faced Palmer in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Moose with a sharp 3-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Moose recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Wasilla's win bumped their record up to 15-13-2. As for West Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 12-19-3.

West Valley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Wasilla in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Wolf Pack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
