Softball Recap: Lehman Catholic Takes a Loss

Lehman Catholic might've scored the first runs on Wednesday, but it was Russia who claimed the real prize. The Cavaliers lost 14-4 to the Raiders. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Bailey Cooper was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Lehman Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Russia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lehman Catholic will take on Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Russia, they will square off against Fort Loramie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
