Lorenzo Williams and Brandon Bergquist provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Plankinton. The connection went for 73 yards, the longest such play in 281 (9 Man) this season.

Wolsey-Wessington extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Pirates, 51-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Warbirds.

Wolsey-Wessington's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Williams threw for 77 and two touchdowns and Bergquist had 73 yards receiving. On the ground Ryne Johnson chipped in 237 yards. Chris Williams helped Wolsey-Wessington's passing attack out by catching one ball for four yards.

Sunshine Bible Academy's Brady Brockel and DJ Beckwith have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Brockel has thrown for 238 yards this season, while Beckwith, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has nine catches for 199 yards. Gordon Hooks' team's Roy Lumpkin leads the league in rushing yards with 924.

The Warbirds' Lumpkin needs only 76 yards against Northwestern Area next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
