Basketball Recap: Summit Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Summit unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 42-34 to the Governor Livingston Highlanders on Thursday. The Hilltoppers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Summit will take on Johnson in a holiday battle at at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. Governor Livingston and Bridgewater-Raritan will compete for holiday cheer at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
