Mia Sherrill leads St. Paul Lutheran to victory over Crystal City

The St. Paul Lutheran Giants won the last time they faced the Crystal City Hornets, and things went their way on Thursday too. St. Paul Lutheran enjoyed a cozy 49-35 win over Crystal City.
Mia Sherrill was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of St. Paul Lutheran's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julie Lunsford, who scored 16 points along with eight steals.
St. Paul Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Crystal City, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
St. Paul Lutheran's road trip will continue as they head out to face Valley at 2:30 p.m. on December 29th. Valley is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Crystal City, they will head out on the road to face off against Valle Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Valle Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Crystal City in Missouri (Valle Catholic is ranked 222nd, while Crystal City is ranked 515th).
